Super day as ever at Clitheroe today, with over 250 sheep going through the ring.

We took top honours with a homebred shearling tup (got by the record priced 6,200gns Phillip Read bred tup) which won 1st prize shearling, champion male and overall supreme champion on the day. He also went on to make the top price of the day, selling for 4,200gns to Peter and Eddie Howard. We also sold the top priced tup lamb at 580gns for a dark-headed lamb by the same Read tup - it had stood first in the young handlers class when young Edie King showed it.

Our headline prices included

4,200gns to Peter & Eddie Howard

1,100gns to John France

580gns to Eli Tattersall Jnr
